Pink Floyd fans around the world should love this excellent collection of videos. They range from the the famous 1972 gig, Live At Pompeii through all the years that the band were together including some of the reunions that they have done.
And even if you are not a fan, why not take a look and see what is is that has had generations of progressive rock enthusiasts dancing (or nodding) in the aisles?

The silent violin will never replace the real acoustic violin. There will always be a market for something that makes that kind of sound!
Because of this, classical music fans and jazz aficionados are not threatened by electric violin playing anymore. Now they can enjoy it for its convenience, as well as the neat effects that can be achieved.

The guitar has been around in one form or another for centuries, and the principals behind how it works have been in use forever. The term “acoustic guitar” is a retronym, because all guitars were acoustic.Read the full article about Acoustic Guitars.

There are many wonderful things I love about Christmas time, but one of the best are the Christmas songs that my mom would play all during the weeks leading up to Christmas Day. My mom would either be singing Christmas songs on her own or playing Christmas songs on the stereo. Christmas music, not my mom’s singing (just kidding mom), always made the holidays a bit more exciting, and is probably why my wife and I enjoy doing the same things each year for our kids. Music has the gift of bringing back our fondest memories and feelings from long ago, and Christmas songs are no exception.

I guess, the fact that some of those contestants on the
American Idol tour didn’t work for it kind of irks me. I’m not saying the contestants weren’t talented, but what I am saying is that some of those contestants didn’t earn their shot. There are performers out there who have toiled for years and are far more talented. They didn’t get a television show to boost their careers, and they are far more deserving of such notice. The American Idol tour just seemed to magnify just how inconsistent the American audiences can be, and that in some cases you can just stick anyone up there and audiences will buy into it.

Next to your iPod, your iPod earphones are going to be your best friend. Where you and your iPod go, your iPod earphones also go, that’s how close you’re going to be! Seriously speaking though, your white iPod earphones which are supplied with the iPod is a definite statement.
They are distinctive and tell the world that you have an iPod. They are the one thing that everybody wants (next to the iPod of course!), for the statement that they make. No self respecting iPod owner would ever be without their iPod earphones, and that’s the truth.

This music does a lot for us mentally as well as physically. A classical music CD is wonderful for people of all ages. Though the songs didn’t make the course fly by without effort, I seemed to be able to process information better after listening to the classical music CD. As the years went by, I added one classical music CD after another to my collection. The music is great for mental stimulation and focus. If you have a newborn then you might want to invest in a classical music CD. I made sue to have at least on classical music CD on hand after having my son. The power of song is great and shouldn’t be underestimated. I might thank him by sending him a classical music CD to show my appreciation. Read also in French: musique de mariage

Billy Talent is a Juno Award-winning Canadian rock band formed in 1993 in Mississauga, Ontario. The band consists of Benjamin Kowalewicz (vocals), Ian D’Sa (guitar/vocals), Jonathan Gallant (bass/vocals), and Aaron Solowoniuk (drums/percussion).
Although they are often described as having punk rock roots, the band claims that they have no bands that they have drawn inspiration from; they did not “emulate popular bands at the time.” The sound is original and unique, something different that they recognized when they first started playing together.
The band existed for almost a decade before hitting mainstream success. The members met and played in high school under the name Pezz, and remained underground in Toronto’s indie music scene until 2001. The band renamed itself Billy Talent after running into legal trouble with the old name. It was then that Kowalewicz’s connection with a worker in Warner Music Canada’s A&R landed the band a record deal and launched them into mainstream success. Since then, Billy Talent has made two multi-platinum records in Canada, and continue to expand their success overseas. While currently on tour, the band is expecting to return home in September and start on a third album.

Thursday is an American rock band from New Brunswick, New Jersey that has released four full-length albums. The band’s name comes from their desire to not be automatically associated with any particular musical style.
Thursday is set to release the live Kill The House Lights on 2007-10-30 through former record label, Victory Records. The band will also be touring in November in support of this release.
Thursday was formed in 1997 by vocalist Geoff Rickly, guitarist Tom Keeley, guitarist Bill Henderson, bassist Tim Payne, and drummer Tucker Rule. Keeley recounts foundation of the band:
“Tucker and I used to get together on weekends when we didn’t have school and just kind of kick around little two minute hardcore songs on our really crappy equipment. We’d hang out in his attic, and just try really hard to fool ourselves into thinking we were good. I guess we did that for like four months and actually started learning how to play our instruments. Right around that time I met Geoff at an Ink and Dagger show, and asked him if he wanted to come to the “practices” and work on lyrics. Tim, I met in a figure drawing class. For a while my other friend from high school, Bill played with us..we recorded Waiting with him. After a while he realized that he was not going to be able to commit to touring because of school, and through a mutual friend of all of ours we met Steve.”

When my friend bought a sports MP3 player, I thought she was crazy. If there is anyone who is more accident prone than me, it is her. Although she is an outstanding athlete when she is not on the bench due to injury, those periods are rarer than with most people. She has had a broken arm, a broken leg, several broken fingers, and a fractured skull. The sport MP3 player seem like just one more thing that she could break.

So, what’s the solution for the
iPhone hack? In order to figure out how the iPhone can escape the clutches of the hackers, the folks at iPhone are doing their best and are working extra long hours in hopes of protecting their customers from the inevitable. Amazingly, they have been succeeding partially, for now. The iPhone workers are testing the iPhones in order to check whether data can be hacked from the mobile and into the computer by the iPhone hackers.

There are so many great artists out there, across all kinds of genres. Every once in a while there is a band or artist that becomes synonymous with a certain city or area. Its hard not to think of Jimmy Buffet when Florida Beaches, particularly the Florida Keys, comes to mind. Jack Johnson is the image of Hawaii for his legion of fans.
For me, The Red Hot Chili Peppers have always been the quintessential image and sound of California. As I drove around looking at apartments for rent in Los Angeles, the Red Hot Chili Peppers in the car CD player were a big part of the experience. It was an even dose of Californication and By The Way on that day. The Chili Peppers pay homage to Los Angeles probably as much or more than any artist or band recognizes a single place in their song lyrics. The guys from the Peppers are not just transplants playing the role of LA rockers, these guys are born and raised in LA and alumni of Fairfax High School in West Hollywood.
While my LA days were short-lived, popping in a RHCP disc quickly brings me back to the beauty and excitement of Southern California. It takes a special artist to become such an integral part of the image of a city and the Chili Peppers

There are times when you are absolutely squeezed for times or you might be one of those untalented people that can’t even make a bed never mind trying to make a Christmas gift for someone. If that’s the case then here is a can’t miss inexpensive Christmas gift that’s sure to be greatly appreciated. It’s a gift that keeps on giving. You won’t go wrong by purchasing your friend, family member or loved one a lifetime membership in either a free movie downloads site, a free mp3 music downloads site, a free games downloads site, a
free Zune downloads site, a
free iPhone downloads site or a free PSP downloads site.
Here is the best part. If you sign the person up for an unlimited free movie downloads site, not only will they be able to download free movies, but they will also be able to download free mp3 music, plus download free games, plus download free software and a lot more free stuff to download for a small one time membership fee. All of that from joining a free movie downloads site. If you join an unlimited free mp3 music downloads site or an unlimited free games downloads site you also get movies, music, games, software and more from each. The important thing to remember is a free movie downloads site is going to put more emphasis on movies, a free game downloads site is going to put more of an emphasis on games and a free music downloads site is going to put more emphasis on music.

Slipknot (sometimes typeset as SlipKnoT to fit their logo) is a Grammy winning American metal band from Des Moines, Iowa. The nine-piece formed in 1996 and are currently signed to Roadrunner Records.
Their albums and home videos have achieved platinum sales status. The band’s Grammy award nominations include Best Metal Performance, which their song, “Before I Forget”, won after six successive years of nomination.
Slipknot’s first songs were composed in 1993. The Slipknot band went through the names “The Pale Ones,” “PyGSYSTEM,” and “Meld” before they settled on SlipKnoT. Many of the songs on Mate. Feed. Kill. Repeat and some that were added to later albums were written during these sessions. Shawn Crahan was the lead drummer before Joey Jordison entered the band. Crahan, being the founder, came up with the idea of having three drummers; first to create a powerful tribal sound, and second to create a “wall of sound”, both of which Crahan wanted.
