SPIN MAGAZINE and MUSIC NATION are in HOT PURSUIT...
in hot pursuit of the hottest up-and-coming bands and recording artists; musicians dedicated, innovative, and industrious enough to represent the magazine on the mic.

Go to www.spin.com/thecompetition for your chance. Make the cut, and we¹ve got a major development deal with Epic Records / Original Signal, a spot on the bill at Spin's 2008 SXSW party, and a song on an upcoming video game, with your name on it. Set to judge is rock-star elite Perry Farrell of Jane's Addiction and Satellite Party, as well as Tim Kasher, frontman for Cursive and The Good Life, and YOU.

That's right, MUSIC NATION is a democracy and SPIN MAGAZINE knows this decision is far too big to make without a little input from YOU first. So what are you waiting for?
