With the internet and world wide web it’s never been easier than it is today to buy music downloads. Some of the best sources and web sites to buy music downloads include but not limited; Apple iTunes Store, Amazon MP3, Napster, eMusic, Rhapsody, Spotify, 7digital and so many more music download sites to choose. And although these music downloads are all great, in my personal opinion, the best place to buy music downloads is Amazon MP3.
Amazon MP3 has such a great selection of music downloads to choose from. From rock music downloads, to pop music downloads, to rap music downloads, to country music downloads, to jazz music downloads, to classical music downloads and so many more music genres to choose from!

Let’s face it, your iPod is very special to you because you have your favorite tunes on it are ready to go with you when you are ready. Moreover, you continually add to your collection and you can categorize your music easily, which makes it the most popular electronic gadget around. The only drawback is eventually it will run low on battery power, which is why you need the iPod charging station, which is often called the iPod Docking Stations because it will charge your iPod and allow you to listen to music through the speakers on the dock while you wait for the full charge to complete. Some of the iPod Docking Stations come with a radio alarm clock, be sure to check out this system.

Anyone lover of gadgets and portable electronics knows what an Ipod is and in fact, many people who have no interest in personal electronics know exactly what they are. With over 21 million units shipped, and over 75 per cent of the personal Digital Audio Player (DAP) market worldwide, its no surprise Apple Computer Inc. has become the 800-lb. gorilla of portable music players.
What most people dont know is the variety of alternatives to the Ipod devices or media players which can play music, videos, and more, and which accept Secure Digital (SD) cards, Compact Flash, and Memory Sticks, and replaceable (or rechargeable) AAA batteries, often for a lower price than a comparable Ipod. The iRiver devices offered by South Korean manufacturer Reigncom range from small players intended to hang on a keychain or as wearable jewelry style devices to full-fledged hard-drive based units pointed squarely at the Ipods market.
SanDisk (a maker of Secure Digital flash memory) offers the Sansa series of MP3 players, with the distinction of being able to accept the same SD cards as many digital cameras, offering additional storage options and the flexibility to swap music collections without long transfer times. Some of Samsungs YP series of MP3 players offer a miniscule size, picture viewer and LCD monitor, all at a lower price than many competing units.
Although there are a variety of choices, one major reason for the Ipods dominance is the sheer irresistibility of its marketing. The unit is sleek and simple, stylized yet understated, much like the rest of Apples product offerings. For many Ipod owners, the device is a fashion accessory as much as a technological device when walking down the street, the trademark white earbuds are clearly visible even from some distance.
So visible in fact that they have become an easy target for some muggers but many Ipod owners would sooner risk robbery than trade in their favorite fusion of fashion accessory and music player. Many people find that a particular device simply suits their tastes better than all the rest, but in many cases, one device isnt necessarily better than all of the others, only different and with more or fewer features. The selection of manufacturers and models presently available offers as wealth of choices for any portable audio lover, whether replacing an existing device or entering the world of digital audio for the first time.

Headphones have been around for a long time virtually from the invention of radio. However headphones for audio, particularly stereo headphones did not appear until 1958. It was John C. Koss who first brought them to market specifically to listen to music. At last one could mimic the music hall, people were astounded and they quickly became popular. Koss are a major wireless headphone maker today.
It was not until the 70s that wireless technology began to appear in volume and what a relief it was to be. No longer did you need to be tethered to your HI Fi, now you could move around at will. The first units were not so clever, sound quality was not as good as the wired versions and range was useless too. Nowadays all that has changed. Wireless audio headphones are now so good its hard to spot the difference with the wired variety. Consisting of a transmitter connected to your device and a receiver built into the headphones the most versatile are RF or radio frequency wireless headphones. These units work no matter where you are in your home. IR units or infrared are just as good sound quality but only operate on a line of site basis which means that you need to be within the same room as the transmitting device.
Nowadays wireless headphones are used for watching TV, computing, gaming and even your IPod can be connected. No wonder that wireless sales are now outstripping the corded sets as people discover the freedom these headsets give the user.

For the longest time I used to record to cd’s using my Yamaha p85 digital piano. I had a stand alone cd player recorder or I would use recording software first to be able to edit. Then I would burn my cd’s and have fun listening in my boom box or car.
Then came along mp3 technology and I was a little slow in jumping over because the fidelity was better with my cd’s. Well that is no longer, these days even with the cheapest mp3 player, I am able to get fantastic fidelity when recording.
I still make cd recordings for situations where there is no mp3 player to listen on but most of the time I’m using mp3 technology for my music.
What I really love is the ability to stack the songs inside my mp3 unit instead of changing one cd at a time. So what I’m doing a lot now is converting my cd’s to mp3 files.
The good news is windows media player will do this with the latest version. You don’t even have to buy conversion software.
If you don’t want to use windows software then just google cd to mp3 conversion and you will find all kinds of software, free and paid.

MP3 ringtones today account for two thirds of new mobile ringtones. The sound is a snippet of your favourite music with lyrics and the whole band playing — much nicer than the old-fashioned ring or dull monotone melody. Most mobile phone manufacturers today include this type of ringtone on their newest handsets. Even better, you can program today’s phones to play different tones for different reasons.

Beethoven - Piano Sonata No 27
Beethoven's career took a different turn after the occupation of Vienna by Napoleon in 1805 and 1809. The stress caused by the occupation, plus his increasing deafness put serious composing on the back burner. In the years 1812 to 1814 after composing his 7th Symphony Beethoven did little composing except for a few pot boilers like Wellington's Victory and the revision of his only opera Fidelio.
