Facts About The Accordion
The accordion is also known as the “squeezebox” and was developed in the 19th century in Europe. The first accordion had quite a different appearance from the modern accordion, and was used for the first time in Vienna, Austria. There are three different types of accordions : the concertina, the button and the piano accordion. Accordions are used in many different kinds of ethnic music, for example Cajun music from Louisiana, polka music from Europe and even some kinds of Brazilian music use the accordion.
