Every newcomer to the instrument of guitar has had the urge to play like a professional at one point or another. The question begs, how is it that some people excel in their playing while others fall behind? The key to proving yourself a winner is determination and practice. When you first take guitar lessons, do so with the right attitude. Too many people fall by the wayside when they decide they are too good for practice or that they already know some of the material. Everything in the arts is a learning process so enjoy every step of the way. Before you know it, you will begin to play like you always dreamed of. With practice comes payoff. The rewards are closer than you think.
