Many singers never think about buying backing tracks, but in many cases it really makes a lot of sense. Technology improvements mean that backing tracks have come a long way. Of course, not all of them are free, but many of them can be bought for a reasonable cost. A lot of musicians believe that you can’t use pre-recorded instrumental backing, but you really can.
