When Is It OK To Download

I got in an argument with my son last night; he says that it is OK to download music free from the internet. I thought that it was only OK as long as you pay for it. I did some research online to find out who was right. I am afraid it is hard to tell. I did find out that there are a lot of music online sites available. Some of them offer free trials. Some are radio stations that you can create to your taste. I like the ones that come with music videos also. I am still not sure what is legal and what isn’t so I do encourage my son to purchase music instead of searching for and downloading free music just to be safe.
